    The Salton Sea

One of the first things I did when I got to California is visit the Salton Sea. Located on the San Andreas fault in SoCal, this shallow saltine lake is a popular attraction in the Cali desert. It is surrounded by farm lands in the Imperial Valley, some forests in the west, as well a vast desert landscape. If you head north of the Sea, you will stumble upon the iconic Joshua Tree National Park. The Salton Sea was created by accident in the early 1900's after the Colorado River

    Ghost Towns in Arizona

During my time in Arizona, I got to explore quite a few ghost towns. Each of them were defined in their own way and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Here's a run down of my favorite old mining towns to explore: All About Oatman Oatman, Arizona is a charming old ghost town in western Arizona off historic Route 66. Burros roam the streets and you can find history in every building. The burros define this unique town and are so much fun to be around. They are super friendly a

    Joshua Tree National Park

I had the pleasure of spending some time recently in Joshua Tree National Park. This park is so unique and gorgeous in so many ways. Located in Southern California, this rather large park lures in millions of visitors annually. There are tons and tons of Joshua trees scattered throughout. In the picture below, I am standing next to the oldest Joshua tree in the park! (And by far the biggest Joshua tree I've seen yet!) Did you know Joshua Tree National Park is located where th

    ProClip Phone Mount Review

Being on the road so much, it's super convenient to have a phone mount in my Jeep. For a little over a year, I've been using a decent phone stand I found on Amazon, but my phone would always fall out! You get what you pay for right? On top of that, the sticky adhesive keeping the holder in place would occasionally melt and my phone would droop down! It was hilarious but tragic. Not only is the Wrangler a bumpy ride, but going offroading was a guarantee that my phone would fal

    Fall in the Pacific Northwest

As most of you know by now, I'm just a girl and her Wrangler road-tripping across the USA and Canada. Due to wildfires and health reasons, I ended up staying in the PNW a few months longer than expected. But that's the beauty of an unplanned road trip - you have nothing to lose. Life always has a way of making a joke of my plans, but I dig it. I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason. Although I planned to leave Washington in August, I ended up staying through

    Visiting The Olympic Peninsula

During my time in Washington, I had to visit the Olympic Peninsula. A good chunk of this area is the Olympic National Park. This park is massive and very diverse in nature. I had the pleasure of taking a week to drive around the Peninsula and explore the rainforest, beaches and woods! I've hit almost every mile of Route 1 and Highway 101, all the way down the west coast of California, Oregon and Washington. The 101 loops around the Olympic Peninsula surrounding Olympic Nation
